On the day Daphne turned a year older, she was surprised by her officemates and special someone by decorating her work station in the office. She was so touched that she decided to surprise them last Friday by giving them Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes.
I made her cupcakes a wee bit special by filling the cupcakes with chocolate ganache and by adding Reese’s Pieces aside from the Butter Cups.
Hello, Cupcakes! <3
The cupcakes were so huge they didn’t fit well in the cupcake containers that I usually use. I just love this girl so much that I wanted everything to be extra special. Besides, Daphne definitely is one special girl!
Surprise for the officemates.
And here’s her note, tagging her officemates and special someone to tell them they have cupcakes.
Thank you, Daphne, for ordering! And HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Always remember that Ate Tonet is here for you. HUGS! <3

FOOD SERENDIPITY by Antonette Maniquis
Robby is one thoughtful cousin-in-law. He would always bring me and my family pasalubongs everytime he comes home to the Philippines. So thoughtful that he knows much we love chocolate, he’d give us 2 bags of assorted mini chocolates!
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!
But one bag has 2 kinds of chocolates only, Kit-Kat and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Thing is, none of us really like Reese’s. Don’t get me wrong, we love peanut butter. Especially if it’s Lily’s.
Since I didn’t want any of the chocolates to go to waste, I decided to incorporate the Reese’s in my treats.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes!
My first ever Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes!
It was a good thing that Mama was craving for my chocolate cupcakes, I decided to make her cupcakes with Reese’s in them! But instead of peanut butter frosting, I used marshmallow frosting as requested by Mama. I then, topped it with crushed Reese’s and it made my cupcakes look super delicious!
I just used my ever reliable and favorite chocolate cupcake recipe. Chucked a whole (Unwrapped, of course.) peanut butter cup in each cupcake liner before I put the batter and tossed the pan in the oven. It was so good Mama was able to finish three cupcakes in one sitting!
I will be accepting orders as soon as I figure out how much per cupcake will cost. =)
